The ignominious coquettish ribaldry through unnatural selection, notwithstanding divergent subversion convergence and acquiescent sesquipedalia in concatenation of cohesion.
Ive been working on this since the middle of February and its huge. I was hoping the little details that I posted would shed some light on the scale of this. I am going to place the full version at 25% zoom, its big enough. The plus side is that itll print out 1meter X 80cm at 300dpi and thats what I was going for. In pixel terms its 9500 X 11800 pixels.
The inspiration of this piece came from a Early Netherlands 14th Century painter, Rogier van der Weyden [link] . Ive taken a lot from this great master.
It feels really weird to be finished, I am not used to this feeling . I need a new hobby now.
Well ... first reaction was "Dafuq?" but upon closer inspection I see that this piece is indeed quite awesomely creative, with details upon details of finely crafted details! And also, that fish in the background with bow and arrow is pretty cool C:
This is a wonderful piece. Such unique creatures all interacting, not so much with each other but side by side in the world you've created. I've never seen anything like the person you've created. Not only your imagination, but your artistic talent makes this a really fun and interesting piece. I've actually gone by the name of Glome in all internet communitcation for many years; whether responding to online newspapers, blogs, articles etc. I decided out of curiosity to see if there were any images my that name this AM and was surprised and happy to find your work. One thing I would like to hear your idea's regarding ... her face. What do you see there? Or what should I see there I love the merging of different beings into one in the picture.
What can I say....this piece gives me the chills.....simular to that of Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights. As his has haunted me since childhood, may yours do so in the same in the future.
Excellent! I am always amazed by digital manipulations & have played with it some but as you know it is very time consuming & your work shows that in the details! Keep up the amazing work! Please visit my site and check out my recycled creatures! Hugs, Stevie
